By: Fox59 News Studio

Monday, November 08, 2021

In a Fox59 News segment, Sanya Carley explains the reality of energy insecurity in the cold 2021-2022 winter.

Temperatures have dropped below freezing several times already this season. It's only November 8th, so more brutal cold will affect central Indiana in the months ahead. One big concern as we look to winter is what this cold will do to our heating bills and who will feel the effects the most. Sanya Carley, an economics professor at Indiana University's O'Neill School shares some insight and information about the Energy Assistance Program.
