Emily is a master's student in the Weitzman School of Design's Urban Spatial Analytics program at the University of Pennsylvania. She attended the University of Virginia for her Bachelor of Urban & Environmental Planning with a double major in Computer Science. There, she worked as an IoT Research Assistant for the Floodwatch project, focusing on managing a network of rain gauge sensors to predict flooding with machine learning. In her free time, Emily enjoys kayaking, hiking, and exploring new places.
